Prof. Dr. med. Saleh IbrahimProf. Dr. med. Saleh Ibrahim is head of research at Immungenetics AG and part of the supervisory board of the company. Prof. Dr. Ibrahim studied medical science in Egypt, Finland and in the US (Princeton University). Until December 2008 he was in charge of the immungenetic working group at the Institute for Immunology (University of Rostock). Subsequently, he moved to the University of Lübeck or the university hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UK-SH), Campus Lübeck. As a professor and head of the Immungenetics groupat the Department of dermatology, allergology and venereology his research focuses on animal models and the transfer of results to humans.

Moritz v. GrotthussMoritz v. Grotthuss is CEO of Immungenetics AG and responsible for all strategic, operative and adminstrative issues of the company. Having completed his law studies and legal training Mr. v. Grotthuss worked for Allianz, Clifford Chance Pünder and Ericsson. In 2008, he joined engage Key Technology Ventures AG, a company focussing on the founding and set-up of growth-oriented high-tech companies, as a partner. Mr. v. Grotthuss has supported Immungenetics AG from the start and will be available as CEO on a long-term basis.

Bent SternfeldBent Sternfeld, Managing Director at engage AG, studied law at the universities of Regensburg and Kiel and joined the European management consultancy inno Group. He was in charge of the set-up and management of several subsidiaries before joining the management of engage AG at the beginning of 2006. engage AG is a company supporting universities and research institutions in the structuring and set-up of research-oriented start-ups in the scope of a defined cooperation. Since 2011, he is Chairman of the Board of Immungenetics AG.

Dr. Susanne LemckeDr. Susanne Lemcke is in charge of research and development activities at Immungenetics AG regarding autoimmune deseases. Dr. Lemcke studied Biology at the University of Rostock and the Martin-Luther University of Halle /Saale and graduated in 2000. In 2005, she earned her doctorate with a thesis on the genetic causes of Multiple Sclerosis in the Immungenetic Working Group of Dr. Ibrahim at the Institute for Immunology at the University of Rostock.

Prof. Dr. Dr. Jens PahnkeProf. Pahnke, M.D., Ph.D., E.F.N. studied Medicine and Molecular Biology at the University Greifswald. After a few years at the University of Zürich he was offered a Professorship at the University of Rostock. As a neuropathologist, he is currently leading the Neurodegeneration Research Lab (NRL) at the Center for Mental Diseases in Rostock that covers basic and translational research for Alzheimer's disease (AD) and other neurodegenerative disorders. Recently, he discovered a new mechanism for sporadic AD. Prof. Pahnke is member of the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases. He supports Immungenetics AG as an external Research Consultant regarding neurodegenative diseases such as AD and Parkinson’s disease..

Guido HillebrandsGuido Hillebrands, Managing Director at innoveas AG, studied Industrial Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe and co-founded inno Group with the objective to commercialise intellectual property from leading German universities and research institutions. Mr. Hillebrands disposes of extensive experience in creating value from publicly funded scientific research and technology start-up companies, and supports Immungenetics AG as a member of the supervisory board.

 

 

 

 

 

Antonio MartinezAntonio Martinez Arbizu, Managing Director at innoveas AG, studied Electrical and Communications Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe and joined inno Group in 1994. Mr. Martinez held several positions in the management of subsidiaries of the group, and his activities mainly focus on the establishing and management early-stage technology investment funds. Furthermore, he was responsible for initiating, structuring and managing more than a dozen IP-based high-tech companies. In 2011, he joined the supervisory board of Immungenetics AG.
